Based between Paris and Luxembourg, multidisciplinary artist Etienne Lopa has been honing his skills in poetry, music, fashion and photography for the past several years.

Of Polish-Italian descent, Etienne grew up in Luxembourg fully embracing his multicultural and multilingual heritage, it being at the root of what made him artistically versatile and pouring its essence into his work. He cites his origins as his main influences, alongside Paris, which he has regularly flirted with in the last years and now counts as his new home. His interest and passion for incorporating different media and contrasted inspirations can be found in each project he undertakes.

Starting off as an amateur concert photographer using film and taking polaroid portraits, Etienne quickly moved on to experimenting with songwriting and composing after the realization that he'd like to find himself on that very stage he was used to capturing, instead of remaining behind the lens of his photo cameras.

His debut poetry book, More Than Less, is a first look into his artistic universe and personal style, and precedes a strong follow up of projects. Written during a road trip to the Mediterranean, the young artist takes us on an intimate ride to explore love, distance and travel, with texts that are raw, precise and illustrative.

The release of More Than Less is a simultaneous nod to Etienne's particular creative process in regards to singing and songwriting, in which the words and the lyrics come before the music and the melodies.
